Two Types of Discourses
The two types of discourse for exploration are oral discourse and written discourse. In oral discourse, it is the type that deals with communication that happens through spoken words. An important point to note is that this type of discourse is interactive and frequently occurs among individuals through conversations, engaging in interviews, meetings, or even making presentations (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). In business settings, discourse is common, especially during face-to-face interactions, business phone calls, or video conferencing. A business example of oral discourse is during board meetings the company CEO comes in and delivers a presentation about the performance and future
