I am writing this letter to answer your question, “why don’t you just do what they want?” As a senior engineer at Northeast Utilities, I understand the importance of handling nuclear power plants safely. In particular, nuclear power facilitates numerous positive things when handled correctly. However, it can be detrimental to employees and other people when safety protocols set by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) are violated (Chapter 10).
