Date Discussion Part A Amazon’s Supply Chain Amazon.com started by using fulfillment centers, where products were temporarily stored before they were shipped to customers. Traditional retailers had physical stores where customers visited to purchase goods. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) enabled third-party sellers to manage their inventory and ship products to their customers directly. These retailers sold products that were only available in their physical stores.
