Building the internal and external market within the European states, the European Union considers drafting policies that will ensure that European citizens, as well as the businesses, thrive per the potential envisioned. Regardless of the benefits acquired from the implementing of the functional systems, the free movement of the goods does not merit the supply of the wide choice of the products to meet the consumers’ needs. In addition, there is increasing fear that the operation is likely to promote trafficking of harmful and illegal substances across the boundaries.
