The women’s suffrage was a movement which was established for the rights to vote for women in the United States. This process took activists and other reformers almost a hundred years to win women’s voting rights. The Suffragists stipulated that the women’s votes would play a major role in cleaning the politics and also helping in combating the social evils. Additionally, it was fair that people who were required to obey laws should have had the right to choose the law-makers. This paper examines the tactics employed by Alice Paul and Susan B Anthony in pushing for the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
Alice Paul was a born from a distinguished Quaker family from New Jersey. She attended school in England and later become a radical suffragist.
