While you can read a great deal about various disorders, being able to identify such disorders when they are present is challenging. To assist you with visualizing the disorders you are studying, you will have the opportunity to view the video interviews below with clients who have been diagnosed with various disorders.

For the assignment you need to:
First review the diagnosis and case history of the disorder.
Create at least 2 questions you would ask (these can also be taken from the videos) and identify the theme of the question.
Make sure to keep notes on the questions and the answers that were given.
Prepare a case summary covering the following points.
Describe the diagnostic criteria for each disorder. See your textbook or DSM.
List the interview questions that you created. Explain why you chose those questions. Summarize the responses given to your questions. Be sure to pick questions that were answered in the interview, work backwards.

Diagnosis Criteria for OCD
Obsessive behavior is explained as intermittent and obstinate thoughts, desires, or images experienced by individuals as interfering and unsuitable, instigating marked nervousness and distress (Sue et al., 2014). On the other hand, thoughts and compulsions are not extreme uncertainties about existing life hitches. Individuals with OCD strive to suppress, neutralize and ignore obsession with their actions and thoughts. It is believed that the individual must recognize obsessional thought as a result of their mind and not from external thought insertion. The physician can check compulsive behavior such as repeating daily tasks because they are typical symptoms of OCD. These tasks include washing hands, re-writing, re-talking, and re-reading. On the other hand, individuals without the signs of obsession must show compulsion symptoms to be diagnosed.
Interview Question
Can reading or studying too much be a sign of OCD? The question is important to me because I enjoy reading so much. I think it is a good thing, but maybe it is a disorder that should be managed.

It depends. Though reading for excess hours can be dangerous. It is was recommended for such individuals to visit healthcare facilities for diagnosis.
