Best Buy assisted clients in realizing the benefits of technology and technological advancements so that they might use connections and enhance their lives in a variety of ways. This was the motivation for the company's constant expansion of customer support capabilities in the hopes of offering end-to-end technology solutions. Best Buy's goals were to achieve long-term sales and prosperity, which is performed in effect through regularly assessing their operating standard to improve it, was meeting customer requirements and wishes as effectively as possible. The company aimed to have not just a wide range of products, but also well-trained workers that were knowledgeable about the products. Workers are encouraged to go out of their way to help customers understand what these devices could do and how to get the most out of what they bought.
1 The strategy used by Best Buy
Best Buy transitioned from a bargain store to a service-oriented company that relied on distinctiveness. Best Buy switched from a commission-based to a non-commission-based remuneration structure to salespeople, giving customers more influence over their purchases and saving the company money. The role of Best Buy's salespeople has shifted considerably. Previously, salespeople were compensated on a commission basis, so as a response; employees were much more aggressive in aiding buyers who walked through the door (Drucker, 2012). The commission structure has been eliminated, and sales representatives have evolved into educators who help clients learn more about the products available in stores. The customer, to a large extent, took charge of the purchasing process.
