1 The total Gross Sales for all sugar products are SEK 33,453,380.68. It must be noted that this amount does not yet include the Discounts and other deductibles per sugar variant. The following table (Table 1) shows the breakdown of gross sales for the Granulated Sugar Variants 12x1 kg, Granulated sugar variants 6x2 kg, Powdered Sugar 12x1 kg variants are SEK 17,895,156.46, SEK 11,203,222.40, and SEK 4,355,001.82, respectively.
In order to get this value, each of the sales weight was initially calculated. To do this, the author first multiplied the 1440 tons of granulated sugar sales by their corresponding percentage (60% for 12x1 kg variant; 40% for 6x2 sugar variants). Subsequently, the Total weightage of the Granulated sugar sales (1440 tons) was then deducted from the Total Sugar sales (163o tons) to determine its value. Both of these were then converted to kilograms (kg).
After having the weightage of each variant, these was then multiplied to the existing prices to find the Gross Sales for each of the sugar variants. Finally, by adding the gross sales for each variant, the author was able to deduce the Total Gross Sales for all of the sugar variants which is equal to SEK 33,453,380.68.
