Why I Want to Go to Cosmetology School
For as long as I can remember, I have been conscious of my looks. I would always notice if my hair looks extra-frizzy, or my nails look dull and lifeless. Needless to say, this would affect my self-confidence and even my ability to connect with other people.
Once she realized that this lack of self-love was causing my inability to thrive in life, my older sister took me to her favorite hair salon and asked her regular stylist to give me a makeover. Not only did I receive several hair treatments, but nail technicians also came over to give me manicures and pedicures. Once I was done, I realized that I am more beautiful than I think I am and resolved to one day help other women feel the way I felt that day: strong, attractive, and confident.
