The Research Process
I have specific questions regarding the research process up to this point. In one of the videos, the narrator states that it is important to do superficial research on the topic to ensure that one has enough material to develop the case (Marble jar Channel). I do realize that some articles may not offer adequate information about the topic. It is up to me as the author of the paper to search for more information from reliable sources. The question I have is can one be too superficial in the way they look at the said articles? I will need to be extra vigilant to ensure that I do not fall into this trap.
Why does someone not read an entire journal; article but just focus on the results and findings? There could be some crucial information that could help develop the research topic. While some articles may be lengthy and somehow tedious to read through, most have key words that link to the part of the article the information is contained. I have realized that I would need to grab various concepts from individual articles to put my point across. The richness in sources will only serve to make my final paper more meaningful.
The next question to raise here would be, what about the study itself? Are there no parameters to be considered? Perhaps the study was undertaken in a specific way with various tools. How would this...
