Nurse Burnout, Nurse-Reported Quality of Care, and Patient Outcomes in Thai Hospitals.Journal of Nursing Scholarship, 48(1), 83-90. doi:10.1111/jnu.12187 In the cross-sectional study, the researchers sought to evaluate the impact of nurse buyout on quality of care and patient outcomes. Nurses reported on the quality of care and patient outcomes and there were descriptive statistics on quality of care, patient falls, medication errors and infection. The qualitative study was conducted in Thailand where there were 2,084 registered nurses working in 94 community hospital and is level VI evidence on Melynk’s rating scale.The findings showed that nurse burnouts are directly associated with negative patient outcomes. When it comes to talking about the quality of this article, the content and overall impression was good and the response rate was 98.6%. The Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Service Survey (MBI-SSI) was chosen as the tool to evaluate the prevalence of burnout and has previously been shown to be a reliable instrument.Experts have opted for a number of ways to determine the accuracy and reliability of this study. In this study, a number of qualitative techniques were used to get the responses of registered nurses recorded. Researches recommend the need to prevent and the incidences of burnouts, and this is possible only when they are allowed to choose their working hours and given a free hand to serve patients in a way that suits them the most. Integrating some quantitative methods would have improved the quality of the study.
