On Melnyk’s rating scale, the article can be placed on the level VI of evidence and is descriptive study with data from a larger-scale survey. The researchers evaluated the link between transformational nurse leadership and work life, burnout, and engagement. Lewis and Cunningham tested the PROCESS analysis tool, to assess about the association of the variables. There were responses from 120 working nurses were the analysis focused on burnout and engagement bivariate relationship as well as burnout and engagement variables separately. In the research findings, empowering behaviors were associated with better work engagement and reduced burnout as the impact of workload and control are considered in the workplace. Effective nurse leadership affects nurses and the nurses constitute the biggest share of the health care workforce. For the burnout and engagement variables, reliability was estimated using Cronbach’s alpha for the multi-item scales. The internal, convergent, and discriminant validities of the different test scores for all the variables were evaluated (Lewis & Cunningham, 2016). The nurse leadership styles also influence nurse job satisfaction and nurse engagement, highlighting the need to prioritize effective nurse leadership to improve the workplace environment improves patient safety.
