The paper will discuss whether murders are made or born. A murderer is defined by the nature of the crime they have committed. In some cases, the murder might be accidental, while it might be brutal in other cases. Therefore, this raises questions about whether the murder was born capable of committing such a crime or whether life situations make it possible for people to become murderers. The paper will show that murderers are created by life situations, as evidenced by the case of Shakespeare's Othello.

The killers can drift from the societal attachments to become murderers. This raises the question of what cues such a drift. The article analyzes historical serial killer cases to find out their motive for becoming serial killers.
The article will help my topic since it shows how serial killers can drift from being normal people to being killers. The factors that make them drift from societal attachments are the same factors that influence a good person into becoming a serial killer. Among such factors are jealousy and anger. People are not born jealous or angry. It is the situation surrounding the serial killer and the victim that results in jealousy and anger. These factors turn a good person into a killer, indicating that murders are not born but made. If such factors did not exist in an individual's life, they would not drift from societal attachments or become serial killers.
