Beethoven is an insurmountable mountain for music students, and his works contain a great deal of strong expression mark ing contrasts making i t often necessary for players to spend lots of time practicing how to deal with these head -scratch i ng ex pression marks, Beethoven is unsurpassed, and his legacy to today' society is still being studied and modeled af ter by professionals to this day.Beet hoven gradually lost his hearing in his later years, the most precious treasure as a musician, however, the quali ty of his works increasedrather than decreased, and the depth of the works presented after the loss of hearing, as well as the i nner emotion i s i ncredib le, the famous ((Ninth Symphony)) were born i n his period of severe hearing loss, what motivated hi m to continue composing despite his deafness? And i n what ways did he adapt his compositional style in the face of such difficulties? These questions deserve to be studied in depth. This paper will concentrate on analyzing Beethoven and his deafness and comparing the transformation of musical st yles before and after deafness.
