George curry, a writer from Curtin University wrote about warfare, social organizations and resources access amongst the Wosera of Papua New Guinea in 1997. George indicated that the warfare was endemic between the Wosera and social organizations. Studies highlighted that systematic inequalities existed between people who claimed for birthright and members who were recruited from outside the group. There was an economic discrimination against members recruited by the hosts. Discrimination was justified by ideal of clan identity.
