Paul Roscoe is a professor of anthropology and he has extensive knowledge in social sciences. Roscoe has research interest at anthropology of war, cultural ecology and political evolution. He has undertaken research projects in different parts such as Yangoru Boiken of the East Sepik, Papua New Guinea and Mountain Arapesh. Some of his current research projects include the hunter and gatherers of New Guinea and the anthropology of war in Sepik and Highland New Guinea. This article is particularly important for social scientists who would wish to study the challenges encountered when ending wars.
