This is somehow a comic play by this film writer. It all starts when the wealthy couples in a suburban setting congregate to have dinner and celebrate the tenth anniversary of one of the couples, Charlie and Myra. They therefore come to the couple`s home, one at a time. However, things are not as planned. First, the couple realizes that their maid is missing and the servants are gone as well. In the confusion, the host shoots himself in the ear and his wife faints in the basement. He then takes some valium to cool his pain just as his guests start arriving.
The guests arrive to a confused set-up, with no one knowing the story or what to do. Chris, one of the guests calls the doctor and is about to explain issues to him but he is stopped from doing so by Ken. Just then, Lenny and Claire arrive but they had been in a car accident after which Lenny had been attended by the same doctor that Chris was calling. The new arrivals have a rumor that Charlie ...
