As Jasmine indicates, the society for the longest time has been obsessed with a thin frame. As such, most people tend to be very conscious of their weight. Teenagers will try exercise, vomiting and laxatives to cut weight (Kail & Cavanaugh, 2016). There is a combination of factors that can lead to poor self-image, among them biological, environmental and/or psychological. Biologically due to genetics, environmentally due to family habits and psychologically due to low self-esteem. Self-acceptance is a crucial approach in such cases (Shire, 2015).
Jenny
As Jenny states in her post, girls are more affected by their self-image than the boys are. As such, more girls will be reported to have anorexia than boys of their age (Roxby, 2016). People with poor self-image will try to correct the same and end up developing binge eating disorders, anorexia and bulimia nervosa which are quite fatal to the victims. The post describes some of the main vocabularies. However, it does not include a solution to the problem (The National Centre for Eating Disorders, 2016).

As Sandra indicates, teenagers are prone to feeling they do not match the body image that socially accepted in the society. As such, they are more than likely to take part in activities that help them reduce weight, such as vomiting (Crain, 2016). The post indicates correctly that is need for further research to come up with a sustainable solution to the problem (Woolf, 2015).
Class
The media platforms influence a sense of cultural shift, there are aspects that are negative and impact the socially accepted images. People that are considered to be plus size are said to be undesirable. As such, this is a cultural aspects that affects teenagers in a negative manner as they try to attain the standard in question (Rojas, 2015).
