Developing an Implementation Plan for Compassion Fatigue Mitigation

Essay Instructions:

Developing an Implementation Plan
Consider the population in which the solution is intended, the staff that will participate, and the key contributors that must provide approval and/or support for your project to be implemented. These stakeholders are considered your audience.
Develop an implementation plan (1,500-2,000 words) using the "Topic 3: Checklist" resource. The elements that should be included in your plan are listed below:
Method of obtaining necessary approval(s) and securing support from your organization's leadership and fellow staff.
Description of current problem, issue, or deficit requiring a change. Hint: If you are proposing a change in current policy, process, or procedure(s) when delivering patient care, describe first the current policy, process, or procedure as a baseline for comparison.
Detailed explanation of proposed solution (new policy, process, procedure, or education to address the problem/deficit).
Rationale for selecting proposed solution.
Evidence from your Review of Literature in Topic 2 to support your proposed solution and reason for change.
Description of implementation logistics (When and how will the change be integrated into the current organizational structure, culture, and workflow? Who will be responsible for initiating the change, educating staff, and overseeing the implementation process?)
Resources required for implementation: staff; educational materials (pamphlets, handouts, posters, and PowerPoint presentations); assessment tools (questionnaires, surveys, pre- and post-tests to assess knowledge of participants at baseline and after intervention); technology (technology or software needs); funds (cost of educating staff, printing or producing educational materials, gathering and analyzing data before, during, and following implementation), and staff to initiate, oversee, and evaluate change.

There is more added to this assignment that came out yesterday and I am noticing it now. It will require an additional page or 275 words. Here is the second half of this assignment.
In 1,500-2,000, word paper, develop an Implementation Plan that includes each of the required elements listed in your Syllabus instructions and the Week 3 Checklist. Please be sure to include evidence/references from your Week 2 Literature Review to support your plan (3 or 4 references should be sufficient...
Students Must: (a) Develop an educational tool and (b) develop an evaluation tool to include as an Appendix (i.e., pamphlet, handout, poster, PowerPoint® etc) and an assessment tool (i.e., questionnaire, survey, pre-/post tests…etc) that will be used to assess knowledge of participants at baseline and/or after intervention. You are not expected to use all tools listed here or in the Syllabus…you must select the tool(s) that best fits your proposal's need. One of each (educational and evaluation) should be sufficient.
Again, *ALL* tools must be your original work (not permitted to use an existing/published tool).
One educational tool is required but if more is discussed, must also prepare to submit them.
One evaluation tool is required but if more is discussed, you must be prepared to submit them.
Discuss the procedure you will use to assess each of your tools for its reliability/validity. How will you do this?
When discussing your tools in paper, be sure to refer the reader to see the tool by writing (see Appendix B or see Appendix B in parentheses) following the mention of the tool. See Proposal Exemplar for an illustration; otherwise, the reader will not know the tool exists. Appendices (tools) are not due until Week 4; however, if ready, may be submitted this week.
Please submit your Implementation Plan (and tools) to Turnitin (TII). Please follow the posted message related to submitting to TII should your score be > 20%.
The first part 1,500-2000 word paper is this paper I paid for but the development of an educational tool was not clear in the other directions. My instructor made it clear for us. So I will pay an additional page for this part. I would like them both done same time please.

Background
The number of patients in emergency departments is increasing while there is also increased demand on nurses to improve their service in spite of support resources being constrained (Allender, Rector & Warner, 2013). As such, the pressure to improve performance and patient satisfaction has put a strain on nurses as they are more likely to suffer compassion fatigue and burnout while reporting low levels of compassion satisfaction. Given the need to also recruit and retain the most competent staff, nurse managers are also faced with the challenge of ensuring there is quality health care provision.
Obtaining necessary approval
Relying on evidence-based practice would increase the likelihood that the project would help reduce trauma and compassion fatigue at the workplace and improve health outcomes. Seeking approval for the proposed solution will also integrate staff support, since nurses and physicians are tasked with improving the quality of care. To begin with the implementation plan there will be a need to consult the nurses to ensure they understand the benefits of the proposed solution. Additionally, other staff working in the critical care department will be informed on the proposal as this makes it likely that all staff will be directly involved in the implementation process.
Nursing managers oversee the implementation of changes, while the hospital administrators approve changes. As such, the administrators will need to give their approval for the proposal, which will highlight on the changes to be undertaken based on evidence-based practice and assessment of the current situation. Hence, the objectives of the proposal will be clearly laid out, highlighting the benefits of the project as this will likely influence the administrator’s decision on accepting and approving the proposal. Typically, there is skepticism when implementing changes, and there is need to bring on board all stakeholders.
Description of current problem/ issue/ deficit
Compassion fatigue is one of the elements that regularly affects nurses, since they witness the turmoil that patients go through. At the same time, the problem of burnout affects the normal operations of hospital, while effective nurses also experience compassion fatigue (Allender, Rector & Warner, 2013). Even though, nurses typically show empathy to towards the patients, burnout and compassion fatigue limits the extent to which the nurses show caring tendencies because of the high stress levels. The notion that nurses are nurturing means that when there is compassion fatigue this affects the nurse negatively taking a toll on the emergency department, nursing staff, patients as well as families hence there is a need to focus on compassion satisfaction as a way to deal with compassion fatigue after recognizing and combating the condition.
Detailed explanation of proposed solution
Ideally, promoting teamwork at the workplace will improve the social support for nurses and enhance emotional attachment. However, nurses may not identify the signs of compassion fatigue and burnout, and there is a need to improve nursing education about the condition. The education prog...
