Impact of psychology concepts in an education or work setup
Psychology concepts, when exploited in a good manner can be used to impact the educational and working sectors positively. These concepts include different types of intelligence theories as well as different types of behavioral concepts. All these relevant theories and concepts will be discussed below, explaining how they can be used to impact positively the education and working setups effectively in a positive and productive manner.
Intelligence theories include;
Spatial intelligence: This is the ability or skill to recognize and interpret patterns to derive or create information from them. Pilots and sailors are known to possess this intelligence. It is advisable to recognize and identify individuals with these set of skills in a working or education setup to spur them to use this skills for the benefit of a company or their educational success respectively (Andrews, 2003).
Linguistic intelligence: This is the ability to learn and understand different languages. This skill can be used to help an individual to interact with people from different areas of the world. It can also help an individual to understand articles written in different languages in an educational setup (Demetriou & Raftopoulos, 2004).
Mathematical intelligence: This is the ability to analyze, understanding and solving different mathematical problems logically. The skill can be used by individuals in the financial departments in a working setup. It can also be used by individuals in an educational setup to improve their skills in logically solving problems (Demetriou & Raftopoulos, 2004).
Interpersonal intelligence: This is the ability to understand other people's desires, intentions, and motivations. In a working setup, this skill is an excellent tool to promote good employee relationships as well as customer relationships. In an educational setup, the skill can be used by teachers to understand the needs of their students better (Haslam, 2007).
