Whether it is in mathematics, sciences, or business, problems are inevitable, and everyone encounters them at some point in life. However, the thing that matters the most is how one approaches these challenges. In particular, for an individual to be an effective problem solver, one must be a good thinker. When a good problem solver faces an issue, he or she understands that it is not the time to panic, but rather to focus on implementing the most appropriate solution. The paper discusses the primary traits of an excellent problem solver.
The traits of excellent problem solvers include patience, focus, discipline, and respect. First, focus enables these individuals to define the issue at hand by evaluating it critically. After considering all the factors causing the problem, solvers try to come up with different permutations to approach the issue.
