The leader’s sphere of influence will be organizational and community leadership. Consequently, the leader will have control over both internal and external business environments. Based on these spheres, the leader will have positive impacts on the business plan. Organization leadership will emphasize on internal aspects of the plan through supervision and monitoring of the set goals and objectives (Kippenberger, 2002). Community leadership will also serve as social leadership since it will deal with the external community setting where the business will be located. Moreover, social leadership will serve as a connection between the employees and customers; hence, enhancing satisfaction levels.
Potential leadership bias that will impact the development of the organization’s development
Importantly, time is vital to the success of business. It is a potential leadership bias that a leader may experience with negative effects on the progress of the implementation of the business plan. Time taken in decision-making practices may make the difference between successful strategies due to the presence of competitors in the same business field. Consequently, a leader that does not observe time taken to implement policies may lead to a chain reaction with long-run effects. Action-oriented bias may also affect leaders with negative impacts. The biasness may include pressure and optimistic views; hence, the need for a competent and flexible leader that will address any changes to prevent preconceptions.
Leadership styles demonstrated by the leader in your organization
Democratic leadership has been employed in the business. Importantly, also referred to as participative leadership, the approach values the inputs of all team members (Kippenberger, 2002). However, final decisions are made by the leader after considering all essential factors. The democratic leadership style is considered competent since all contributions are valid to enhance collectivism in the attainment of goals and objectives.
Servant leadership is a model where an individual has to be a servant at first before becoming a leader (Kippenberger, 2002). The model would be incorporated in the organization in different ways that will ensure that leaders become servants first. For example, servants may be encouraged first to engage in the presented activities before being voted to become the group leaders. Their services will first be experienced, monitored and evaluated; hence, ensuring that the leader first understands the rules at the servant level. Finally, servant leaders stimulate trust that is an essential aspect of successful leadership.
