The Sirach is an Apocrypha book written by Ben Sira, who lived in the 2nd century BCE. The book is known as a wisdom book. In chapters 11 and 12, the author claims that sinful people are crafty, and attempting to help them will be catastrophic for you. The book teaches to help devout and humble people only. In return, you will be paid by them or God. On the other hand, the book of Luke in the New Testament narrates the Gospel of Christ according to Luke, who is the author. Chapter 15 shows how Jesus was with sinners preaching to them despite the disapproval of the Pharisees.
