In the previous assignment, you were asked to identify a gap after researching, reading and summarizing your research findings. In this assignment, you are asked to fill the gap by conducting your own research, known as primary research. Using a Qualtrics survey or an interview with an expert, you are asked c to collect primary data and use it to complement existing research. In other words, you are asked to add your own ideas to the conversation among experts. For example, if your issue is a corporate social responsibility, you could interview a business ethics professor. If your issue is GAAP vs. IFRS, you could interview an accounting professor or graduate student. If your issue is about social marketing, you could survey students about their attitudes and behavior. If your scholarly conversation is about attachment theory, you could interview a psychology professor, and so on. Your introduction should include an overview of your expert's credentials/survey participants' background, why you chose them, and what is the primary idea you learned from them (i.e. gap answer). Body paragraphs should support the main idea, be thematically organized and synthesized. Your conclusion should summarize everything and answer the gap.

I have an interview with a Graduate student who majored in Computer Science named Wei. He is working for Blockchain Program of Tengxun Company. I have an online interview with him on March 27th. He gives me the answers of questions but I will keep contacting him until I finish my paper. Because my topic is technological, not all the people in business school could explain blockchain technology. So I choose to do the interview with the authoritative person who have the ability to help me resolve the gap. Tengxun is the biggest Internet company in China, and the blockchain program of it researches the blockchain technology for several years and already has achievement in the emerging area. As an employee in the Blockchain Program, he not only has the academic knowledge but also has the practical experience in blockchain knowledge. The Future of Block Chain with Technology and Financial Companies
In my attempt to find out the future of Blockchain technology, I had the opportunity to interview Wei, a Computer Science Graduate student, who works for Blockchain Program of Tengxun Company. Tengxun Company is the largest internet firm in China. Through its Blockchain Program, the company has been focusing on Blockchain technology for several years and has achieved significant milestones regarding emerging issues in that field. As an employee in the Blockchain Program, Wei has not only the academic knowledge but also the practical experience in Blockchain knowledge. Not all the people in business school could satisfactorily discuss and explain Blockchain technology. Therefore, Wei is the right person to answer my questions throughout the research period. It is a technical topic that needs an expert or a person with command in the technology field who can help me resolve the research gap. With the thirst for Blockchain technology, I asked him for an online interview on March 27, 2018. His responses to my research questions were clear and straight to the point due to the limited time we had. However, I was able to grasp key insights about Blockchain technology, especially on its development and potential benefits in both current and futuristic worlds.
According to Wei, Blockchain is expected to change the world in various ways. He asserts that with Blockchain, everything is under careful control. Every data, every website visit, every transaction, and every click generated remains under the control of the consumers and stored in blocks that are secured through cryptography and can be easily tracked. Therefore, Blockchain ensures data and transaction security, safe data storage and exchange, and each network participant has access because there is no central authority. Blockchain eliminates the need for an intermediary, thus greatly reducing costs. There are numerous Blockchain use cases, and a global application can create a fairer, transparent, and more honest financial and technological ecosystem. The network participants have data access, it is not the actual data that is accessible to everybody. It’s only the digital signature of the data that is available and can be seen by the users. That is, when a transaction takes place, information about the transaction is added in the Blockchain where it is encrypted and converted into a unique digital signature. It is the digital signature that is availed to the thousands of systems known as nodes. As a result, tampering or hacking of the digital signature cannot be done in one system. Hacking or altering a digital signature requires access to the thousands of systems at the same time and changing the same piece of information which is almost impossible thus making Blockchain technology secure.
In Blockchain technology, there is no central authority or a single administrator. It is decentralized, in that, it operates on a user-to-user basis. No single organisation or government controls a Blockchain. At the same time, the system data has no single or centralised storage system. The re...
