Costco Wholesale
Costco is a membership warehouse club, and its foremost objective is to make the shopping experience of its members enjoyable. The company achieves this by providing its members with the best prices for a wide variety of merchandise. In addition, it provides them with convenient specialty departments and exclusive member services (Costco, n.d.). The company was founded in 1976 under the name of Price Club in San Diego and served only small businesses. Later the company extended its services to a selected audience of non-business members. It has grown remarkably, expanding its services to several other countries. Its philosophy is to keep prices down and pass the savings to its members. In addition, the company has a motivated staff whose common goal is to exceed members' expectations. Similarly, the company has a reputation for being employee-focused by offering better wages and benefits. It has an attractive culture that appeals to positive and talented employees.

As such, it has undertaken to embrace diversity and inclusion to accommodate employees with all kinds of personalities (Costco, 2022-a). Similarly, perception is another individual difference that defines employees' behaviors. It refers to how individuals perceive themselves and the world around them. Several factors determine the perception of individuals. They include characteristics of the perceiver, characteristics of the person being perceived, and characteristics of the situation in which the two entities interact. In this regard, Costco has created an environment that enhances perception from all perspectives. For instance, it perceives its employees as human capital and does every effort to improve their satisfaction. Perception is crucial as it significantly influences decision-making (Lima & Canbarro, 2015). On the other hand, perception encounters barriers such as stereotypes and selective perceptions. Further, attribution also influences the behavior of individuals in different dimensions. For instance, when employees fail to achieve the desired goal, they may attribute that failure to the lack of applying enough effort. Others may attribute their lack of success to the working environment. Managers of an organization can tell whether employees are motivated by evaluating their attributions. Concerning the three attributes...
