The reasoning in “Pascal’s Wager” is largely flawed considering the different forms of theism that exist. Pascal’s argument suffers a fallacy of false dichotomy or dilemma since it progresses a notion of “either/or” situation while there are other additional logical options. For example, Pascal argues that for an individual to enjoy eternal joy, they believe in God and God exists. This “or” condition assumes the possibility of there being other gods.
