Beauty is one of the most enduring and controversial issues in philosophy. People have different perceptions regarding beauty, and each of them ought to acquiesce in their sentiment without influencing other people. Currently, humanity is in search of real beauty in different parts of the world that matches aesthetics. In my opinion, a mountain is one of the most beautiful things in the world. The natural object makes the world attractive and can have a profound effect on people’s senses. People can have varied opinions regarding the appearance of a mountain since the term beauty is an expression of attitude.
The prominence of a mountain makes it unique and appealing to the eyes. A mountain is in constant flux and appears to be static and unchanging over time. The natural aspect of the resource makes it unique and sensible to almost every individual (Delphin & MacDonald, 2018). Aesthetics can overlap the philosophy of art based on originality and creativity as central artistic values. According to Western philosophers, beauty is one of the ultimate benefits and a fundamental theme among the Greeks. Arguably, beauty just exists in people’s perception and does not define the quality of things. Notably, the representation of a mountain can be objective to signify the real element of the natural resource. Although people might have varied perceptions, no one can deny the fact that a hill is attractive.
The beauty of a mountain is an object of the intellect beside its experience based on perception. The foundation of the unique resource makes it attractive since the rational structure is unique among other natural things. Therefore, a mental grasp of the nature of natural elements is relevant in philosophy. A mountain has an affective and emotional component of beauty, just like in the immediate perception regarding appearance. Delphin and MacDonald (2018) argue that the beauty of a mountain has an intrinsic value based on intelligible structure. Research findings reveal that nature is the source of beauty and goodness, thus the need for protecting mountains against any form of destruction. Therefore, people can take pleasure in an immediate encounter with a mountain. Environmentalists can continue advocating for the fight against the exploitation of the environment to preserve the beauty of a hill.
