On the topic, you choose you are required to research and present how that topic impacts a Business and how it is addressed in the business world today. Your presentation must be framed in terms of the documented source material. You are expected to analyze the topic, highlight the history or background of the key issues, and provide an example of a specific company and how they handled this topic. Lastly you should include your own recommendations on how this issue should be addressed in the future.

Abstract
Managing change in any organization is very crucial. Therefore, it is advisable to implement the six images of managing change for any company aspiring to improve on its overall performance. This paper is going to analyze these images of managing change as well as assess the impact of this concept in various businesses today. The images of managing change are mainly subdivided into two ideologies, namely, images of managing that comprise of controlling and shaping. Second, there are images of change outcomes that consist of intended, partially intended, and unintended. The six images of change are; director, navigator, caretaker, coach, interpreter, and nurturer. These six categories may fall under intended, partially intended, or unintended change.
Director as an Image
The first section will break down the images of change that fall under controlling as an image of managing in conjunction with the type of change outcome. Director, navigator, and caretaker fall under managing as control. First, the director is the image of change that anticipates that all the intended changes will be achieved. The overall manager of any company is responsible for directing all business operations that will eventually translate to the intended change. Therefore, the director chooses a suitable type of management that will enable the company to meets its intended change. Consequently, the director is also expected to command business operations that underpin the intended change, and thus, he or she is in control of everything that is going on in the organization (Hornstein, 2015). This image of change impacts businesses positively since when an urgent change is required within the organization, the director proposes better solutions for the sustainability of the company.
Navigator as Image
Secondly, change managers that act as navigators control partially intended outcomes. These change managers base their control of achieving partially expected changes on the notion that some external factors act as a barrier towards obtaining the necessary change. These external factors include government policies, competition, culture, and many others. Relatively, these change manager’s plan carefully so that the company can achieve a more significant part of the intended change outcome. In addition to this, the navigators liaise with the company management in ensuring that these external factors are mitigated, thus achieving the intended change outcome, though not wholly. In addition to this, these change managers navigate the company's resources intending to minimize the scope of external factors on the progress of the company (Viardot, 2017). The navigator image positively affects a company that is on the verge of collapsing due to the high leverage of external factors on the company. Therefore, up-to-date most organizations struggling with external factors make use of the navigator change to address such issues.
