Crunchy is a fast food business that aims at offer customers products to the whole family. The business will adopt a three prong model, where they will have a brick and mortar premises, an online platform and mobile unit. The business, will have an upper, middle and operational management levels, all of which will have specific information technology needs. The company will implement a number of strategies directed at data management to make sure that the quality of data is not compromised. As such data quality, processes and methods will play a crucial role. The main internet uses will include data storage, online sales platform and administrative processes (Dragosavac, 2015). This will play a major role in the business management and strategic growth now and in the future. The company IT planning is tied to the strategies of assessing the current progress and the future growth. In light of planning and analysis, the company will employ gap analysis, capability tools and reporting tools are going to be crucial to the growth of the business compared to the competition.
Crunchy Eateries
Crunchy is a fast foods business that will offer the customers eateries to serve the needs of all the family members. The company plans to capture the family oriented customers as well as customers that would want unique products that guarantee quality and exquisite service delivery. The business model will be based on a brick and mortar premises, online ordering services and mobile vending units (Dragosavac, 2015).
The business will offer quality quinines from around the globe. In addition, customers can enjoy products such as pizzas, chips, burgers, pasta, beef noodle soup, sushi, fish, bento, chicken, sausages and kebab. Variants of ice creams will also be available, juice cocktails, soft drinks and coffee.
Overview and Structure of the Business
Upper management
The upper management will play the role of overall control and management of the business process (Lynn, 2015). This level will not be responsible for the day to day activities but the development, but rather policy development, administration and business projection.
Middle Management
The level will be responsible for the sub upper management responsibilities at the department level. They will oversee the strategic implementation of the policies and business strategies.
Operational management
This level will be responsible for the actual implementation and operationalization of the business strategies at the lower levels of the business, down to the individual staffs.
