Explain the relationship between the saturated zone, the water table, a ground water well and the cone of depression, all within the sub-surface.

These phases are very essential as they help water to sustain life that exists in land and sea. The three states are Solid in form of snow, ice and glaciers, liquid in form of rain, ricers oceans and lakes and vapor in form of clouds. Essentially, the largest proportion of water in earth exists in frozen state. For water to change from ice into liquid form a lot of heat energy is consumed. This is the reason why the current global warming phenomena have been associated with melting of a large proportion of ice that has existed in this form for ages. In this liquid state the water flows through rivers into lakes where it is retained in large masses (Eggar, 2003).
