As a leader, a Senior Warrant Officer needs to study military history in breadth, depth, and context. The importance of studying military history in breadth, depth, and context cannot be overemphasized, especially in modern times. Military history always serves as a starting point for military leaders who happen to be at the core of decision-making (Gustavson, 1955).
