Marijuana is the combination of shredded leave, flower buds, and stems of the cannabis sativa plant. It is smoked, eaten, brewed and vaporized in all parts of the world. The intoxicating chemical of marijuana is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which affects not only one’s body but also his or her health. In my nursing career, I have encountered various people who smoke marijuana, but the case of a female patient shocked me in a lot of ways. Mrs. Anna was 25 years old, and I was told that she used to smoke marijuana on a regular basis, which had impacted her health to an extent.
