Ladies and Gentlemen. Today, I will talk about the benefits of employee motivation as well as the various strategies that can be employed to boost motivation. Motivation can be defined as the creation of a positive mindset among the employees that drives them towards the accomplishment of the goals of the organization. Due to the positive performance associated with a motivated workforce, various companies are relying on employee motivation for their success. The management of an organization has the responsibility to boost the motivation of the employees through activities such as the provision of an enabling working environment as well as employee recognition.
According to the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, the needs of an employee can be divided into five categories. These needs must be satisfied in order to get the best out of the employee.
