Summary Author's Name: Institutional Affiliation: Date: Summary I will give a brief on a study done by Marini, Buonanno, Stabile, and Ficco (2014) on “Short-term effects of electronic and tobacco cigarettes on exhaled nitric oxide.” By testing exhaled nitric oxide shows that dimensionally, both the typical conventional cigarettes and the mainstream aerosols produced by electronic cigarettes are similar. The study further demonstrates that both conventional and electronic mainstream-generated aerosols contain a certain concentration of particles which varies depending on the content of nicotine present in the cigarette.
