Role of Women in Reproduction
Women play a critical role in maintaining the family and society’s integrity. There is a notable collapse of traditional difference between women and men as circumstances no longer force women to engage in the traditional roles, but instead have succumbed to homosexuality, premarital sex, and divorce.
Traditionalists vs. America’s perception
For example, traditionalists such as Osama Bin Laden, there is a need to maintain the traditional role of women in shaping reproduction patterns (Friedman, 2009). The other example is America’s perception on women's liberation. America support reduced women's participation in reproduction. Traditionalists view it as a way of celebrating immodesty, breeding immorality and consequently ruining the family structure. American culture has eroded the traditional role of women in the society despite them regarding their moves of empowering women in the name of liberation.
