Recycling plays a fundamental role in the reduction of the cost of energy being used during production while at the same time significantly reducing the amount of the energy used.

It is important to note that the high levels of exhaust fumes and pollutants from factories and other machinery such as automobiles and in the industries are damaging and depleting the world’s  HYPERLINK "/Science_ozone_depletion_essay.html" \o "ozone depletion essay writing" ozone layer. The ozone layer’s benefits us in the sense that it protects us from harmful UV rays. If the human beings in the world would recycle more then the argument is that the factories would produce fewer materials from scratch therefore creating a more conducive environment since pollutants would be much less and further saving our ozone layer. There is a sporadic rise in the size and numbers of landfills in the world today and another advantage of recycling is that the process helps keep extra waste out of our incinerators and landfills. The total sum of the landfills and overall size is on the rise because we are failing to help keep the environment habitable by reducing the number of pollutants in our environment.
