Newton's Contribution to Science
Isaac Newton is one of the renowned scientists and has made quite significant contributions to science. In addition to the fact that he was a mathematician, he was also a physicist, astronomerand even a theologian. During his time he was able to bring to life some of the most amazing discoveries which went a long way into making changing the face of science. Most of the scientific contributions can be traced back to the publications that he made called the PhilosophiaeNaturalis Principia Mathematica. This can be easily translated into English to refer to mathematical principles of natural philosophy.
The first contribution to science is the three laws of motion. The first being the law of inertia, which states that an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. An object that is motion continues in motion with the same speed and direction unless it is acted upon by another unbalanced force. This is a law that common found in the element of accidents, where a car travelling at a certain speed, when it abruptly stops from collision with another car, the passengers will remain in motion until they hit something like the steering wheel or the wind screen of
