Continuous growth of the economy proves that seaport has a significant role. Seaport as one of preferred transportation of goods inside and outside the country. Trade of products supports the US economy. The seaports are mostly underdeveloped and it causes jams of ships, very small spaces where the ships can be docked, large ships having trouble getting into the port. Growing sizes of ships and the port staying at its size causes the seaports to get congested. Progress of the seaport is really slow compared to the growth of the economy. The two must support each other to maintain the competitiveness, they are their strength. Seaports from different countries keeping up the improvement together with their economy. New stations for large cargos are built, the systems improve, and ports are given importance as it should be.
Transportation through the waterways support almost all the trades that the US make. Billions of transportation happen every year (and still growing) just to make sure that the merchandises reach the end user. Time will come, the seaports will be troubled as the trade rises. These disturbances cause postponement of of the ships that contain commodities. According to Akakura, Sasaki, Ono, & Watanabe, the economy lost over $10 billion. Before, in 1950s, the trade from Asian Countries to the US is not possible because the charge for the transportation for more than ten thousand kilometers wasn’t afford by the traders. This only shows how important the waterways in the industry.
Conflicts are always around the corner, it is inevitable. With the amount that is wasted because of delays, seaports must be innovated. Since the economy earns so much from the ports, and the economy constatnly growing because of the demands of commodities from different places, inside and outside the country.

Continuous growth of international trade causes the ports to have more ships coming in, the unimproved ports are still struggling to keep up. There are delays and errors caused by inefficient equipment used to track records of the products. Innovation of transportation costs high, to lessen this cause the company must find an alternative but effective way to reduce the congestions.
