The implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHR) in different healthcare organizations, states, and governments have improved the quality of information used in the hospital setups. This sector of information technology captures, stores, and eases the sharing of data across the board in the healthcare system. McGonigle and Mastrian (2011) established that point-of-care technology improved the monitoring as patients receive treatment from various institutions. The ease of retrieval, updates, and sharing makes it simpler for service providers to find all the information about a client in one source. The original idea was to improve the billing structures before its enhancement to aid service delivery.
