Creating a CAUTI Evaluation plan

Research Proposal Instructions:

In 500‐750 words (not including the title page and reference page), develop an evaluation plan to be included in your final evidence‐based practice project. Provide the following criteria in the evaluation, making sure it is comprehensive and concise:
Describe the rationale for the methods used in collecting the outcome data.
Describe the ways in which the outcome measures evaluate the extent to which the project objectives are achieved.
Describe how the outcomes will be measured and evaluated based on the evidence. Address validity, reliability, and applicability.
Describe strategies to take if outcomes do not provide positive results.
Describe implications for practice and future research.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. Please refer to the directions in the Student Success Center.
Upon receiving feedback from the instructor, refine "Section G: Evaluation" for your final submission. This will be a continuous process throughout the course for each section.
This is the final portion of the paper, can you also include a conclusion as well to close the entire paper?

The rationale for methods used in collecting outcome data
A mixed-method will be used to collect outcome data on the rate of CAUTIs. This will involve a combined quantitative and qualitative tool. According to Staveteig et al (2017), the use of a mixed-method approach in data collection is comprehensive as it allows the researcher to capture both non-verbal and verbal data. Moreover, these methods allow the integration of data at different stages of the research to give more insight into a specific issue using multiple perspectives (Timans, Wouters, & Heilbron, 2019). Survey questionnaires will be disseminated to the key stakeholders that are involved in the implementation of the indwelling catheter care bundle and interviews shall be conducted to gather key information that will complement the hospital data on CAUTI rates.
Ways in which outcome measures evaluate the extent to which project objectives are achieved
The main objective of the indwelling catheter care bundles is to improve the treatment outcomes of adult surgical patients in the ICU by lowering the risk of CAUTIs. Also, the project is aimed at improving patient attitudes and nursing skills on how to manage/control CAUTIs in the ICU units. The main outcome measure that will indicate the extent to which the objectives have been achieved is the change in the rates of CAUTIs through a comparison of the past data and future data. Also, the surveys and interviews will assess project objectives by evaluating patient satisfaction and attitudes and the perceptions of the care team about their confidence in utilizing the indwelling catheter care bundles to control CAUTIs.
How the outcomes will be measured and evaluated based on evidence
The project’s outcomes will be measured and evaluated using a case study and a comparative approach. The case study approach shall be deployed by comparing the outcomes on CAUTI rates, nursing skills, and patients’ satisfaction levels with similar parameters that are present in the scholarly literature. In essence, the approach will consult the evidence in the literature to establish the validity and reliability of the results (Goodrick, 2014). Also, the comparative approach will use document analysis to consult hospital data retrospectively to assess how much progress has been made in reducing CAUTIs.
Strategies to take if outcomes do not provide positive results
If the outcomes do not provide positive results, the strategies to take will include extending the evaluation period bey...
