The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates that more than 24 million people in the USA alone have diabetes. Besides, about 57 million people are living in a pre-diabetic state with prominent early signs of disease development as well as high risks of developing lifestyle diseases. Exercise and nutrition go hand in hand for healthy function of the body. Therefore, a person needs to choose the right food in the correct quantity and combination of nutrients to provide energy, protection and build the body. However, eating without exercise is dangerous for the bodies since much of the unutilized nutritional elements are in the form of fats in adipose tissues. The complications that arise from such fats and sedentary lifestyle result to complications and diseases to people. The proponents of exercise nutrition note that proper exercise and proper dieting enhance good appearance and longevity as well as healthy lives. In most cases, people who involve in activity usually are fit and healthy. Besides, such habit helps such people control their weight and a healthy heart and diet. Nutrition keeps the body in the perfect working condition and pace when adequately fed. Therefore, a person needs to know the right food and the right quality and quantity. The body needs the energy to ensure daily function and rest. Separately, the body usually functions concerning the type and amount of food that a person eats. Food is the fuel that body needs to get energy. The positive growth of body requires proper nutrition. For example, an athlete usually trains for competition and log much intensity and kilometers every week. Thus, such people need high carbohydrates and calories for high energy.
