*Recently, your center has seen an increase in complaints regarding long wait times, inadequate or incomplete information from staff during visits, and the relatively small number of insurance types accepted at the facility.
*Write a 2-3 page paper in which you:
*Examine at least three (3) examples of quality initiatives that could increase patient satisfaction and potentially reduce healthcare cost.
*Support your response with examples of the successful application your chosen quality initiatives.
*Defend your position on the decision to accept Medicare or Medicaid as potential pay sources for your urgent care center. Provide support with at least two (2) examples that illustrate your position.

The government and other health stakeholders should provide quality services to the patients. They must ensure that these services are effective, efficient, and patient-centered. Reviews from the people indicate that customers are not satisfied with the services they have been receiving in various hospitals. This can be reduced if the government and other stakeholders can come up with quality initiatives. The main goal of these initiatives is to improve patient satisfaction and reduce cost in hospitals.
The first quality initiative that can increase patient satisfaction and reduce the cost of healthcare services is coming up with a contraction between all the healthcare providers and health plans. To achieve this, the healthcare organizations should come up with a national group that is made up of government agents and contractors from different health plans who will set national standards and guidelines (Young, & Kroth, 2018). As a result, both teams will be able to set up goals that will aim at improving health care services. They will also come up with other approaches like visiting health care organizations to evaluate their progress.
The second quality initiative that would ensure there is maximum customer satisfaction in healthcare organizations is establishing a national data warehouse. This is an initiative that will reduce the cost of healthcare and ensure there is maximum customer satisfaction. According to Guillaume, & Hunt (2018), this is a type of quality initiative that must be valuable to the customers and the payers.
