Brain development
Almost 90 percent of child brain develops in the early ages of life. This is from the age of 0 to 5 years old. There are factors that influence the brain of a child development; some include nutrition, genetics, love, daily experiences, parental responsiveness and physical activity of the child. Children’s brain are like sponges, they require exercising during the first 3 years of life. The exercises during this age strengthen the mind of a child and builds connections in the brain that will affect the child forever. Exercises such as singing to the child, reading and talking helps in this stage of mind developing. The activities you do to the child at these age matters a lot in the future life of the child.
Brain grows at very high rate during these early years of development, by 3 years old, the brain is already at 82 percent and at 5 years old, the brain is already at 90 percent. This is an enough proof that the earliest ages of children’s life matter more than the rest years to come after. The ability children are born with is very high such that they can learn and absorb the parent’s words faster than anyone can imagine. At 3 years old, a child can recognize about 1,000 words with through efforts from the parent. Therefore, one can conclude that the development of a children brains and its ability depends highly on the parent.
Language development
At this stage, the child starts to understand his ability to communicate; children start developing communication skills from the instant they are born. They develop their communication by first starting to recognize things such as the sounds in their environment. This might be music or the voice of its mother, other siblings...
