Persuasive essays are any essay where you are trying to convince the reader that your view of the subject is valid. Note that you are not trying to convince the reader that your view or position is the ONLY way to see the subject.  The key is to think defensively: you are trying to explain why YOU see the subject this way. More importantly, you want to base your argument on solid evidence. This is NOT a personal experience essay, even though your personal experiences will probably influence your viewpoint. EVERY point that you make needs to be supported with evidence. Your entire argument should be based on evidence from reliable sources.
In general, evidence that proves your views are shared with a wide variety of other people will help validate your claims; that's one of the primary reasons for using sources - to provide that outside validation that you aren't the only one who feels this way. However, remember that your position should be the focus of the paper. You should not just be blindly repeating your sources' arguments -- we want to know YOUR unique set of evidence and how it adds up to support your claims.
Thus, the key to doing an argumentative essay is to begin with a subject, but don't lock yourself into a viewpoint yet. Keep an open mind. Try to find as wide a variety of sources as possible and learn as much about the subject as you can. After you've done the research, reading, and thinking about the subject, then you are ready to share your viewpoint with the audience. Remember that the focus should be on how YOU are putting the evidence and ideas together, not on how your sources have interpreted this information. Make sure that you cite all evidence from your sources. my instructor needs P.I.E when I wrote my researching paper please use P.I.E. and I wrote the first introductions. There are many reasons to become homelessness, and many people don't realize that there are a number of things that homelessness such as tornados, hurricanes, and earthquakes. In addition to natural disasters, other factors that cause homelessness are the high cost of living, not enough jobs and losing homes, and these kinds of causes has affected in developing countries, and one of them is Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, there are so many people that suffer on the streets every day because they don't have a home, money or family to help them. They lack food and hygiene, therefore, they are getting sick and dying. Also, they are risk when they sleep on the streets at night. According to an article on BBC news website, “Periodically they attack some of the many Ethiopians who sleep rough on the streets of Addis Ababa every night. A volunteer at a clinic run by a Mother Teresa mission in the city said that a couple of times a month he has to treat homeless and destitute people who have had fingers and toes gnawed by hyenas while they were drugged or drunk” (Fletcher). This example illustrates that these homeless people cannot sleep safely at night on the streets because they could be attacked by the wild animals. It is very hard for homeless people to protect themselves from these wild animals because these homeless people don't have any protection to defend themselves, and there is no place to live, they are the only way to live on the streets. Therefore, homelessness is a serious social problem in Ethiopia, so the government should create programs to support the homeless peoples.

The Impact of Homelessness in Ethiopia
It is indeed true that there is an increasing trend of homelessness among Ethiopians. This is attributed to lack of attention by the Ethiopian government. Homelessness in Ethiopia is perceived to stem from an inadequate government system. In major circumstances, people move from rural to urban as a result of land degradation, drought occurrence, land fragmentation, soil infertility and population pressure. Most of the immigrants started to stay in poor grade rented houses, subways, along railway lines, roads, sidewalks, and tunnels back in 1950. According to the United Nations, homelessness can be of two categories: relative and absolute homelessness.
A case example of absolute homelessness is attributable to those people who live on streets with no physical shelter of their own. They are considered to stay in conditions that are not meant for human habitation. Contrary to absolute homelessness, relative homelessness is exhibited to those who do not meet living requirements. Mostly, they are encountered with inadequacies of education, medical care, secure tenure, and proper education. Homeless individuals live in threatening conditions relating to violence. Most of the Ethiopian people live in dirty tents, caves, along flyovers and roads. Homelessness occurs in different ways with the latest one being relocation to give room for urban expansion.
The youths in Ethiopia, particularly the young girls face many problems due to homelessness. Much intervention needs to be put into place. Most of the girls living in the streets are exposed to sexual harassment. The results have been a contraction of H.I.V/AIDS and early-unwanted pregnancies. The government on its part has violated the rights of most Ethiopians. They are subjected to harassment by the government regime. The paper will offer insight into the problems that are associated with homelessness and ways that should be utilized to solve homelessness.
Discussion
According to a report by Frank Ashall of 2012, high rates of homelessness have been recorded in Ethiopia’s capital city. The number of homeless individuals according to him is estimated to be 100,000 and more. He further gives his experience of how he tried to help homeless individuals in the country. The response was intimidation by governmental operatives, which made him seek new pastures. He lost his job and was made to flee. The people who oppose the government are tortured and jailed with the aim of infringing human rights. He acted as an example to show that it is indeed real homelessness occurs if you oppose the government. In his report, he names the Oromo community as one community, which greatly suffers from government intimidation.
Gebreselassieet al., (401-431) states that land degradation has dramatically affected the people of Ethiopia. Eighty-five (85) percent of the land is degraded. Ethiopia is the second most highly populated country in Africa with an estimate of about 92 million people living in the area. Population pressures have resulted in land degradation. Most people, therefore, find it tough living in soil eroded lands and when they move out from those places to find better places most of them end ...
