Introduction
It is so unimaginable how people value art. Not even the modern one but also the classical ones.
This begs the question what is art and why do we value imagines of kings, saints, battles, goddesses, cities or even the landscapes. Go to any house whether for rich or poor and you will be amazed by the kind of images hanged on the wall, on top of the carbonates, or even on the ceilings. The kind of images in each house portrays the owner of the house depending on his interest or perceptions towards the artists.
Art works started long time ago and their history shows how sculptors, painters, and architects over the ages have expressed their different beliefs. These beliefs could be political, religious, cultural or even aesthetic, all the way from civilization of the Greece, Mesopotamia, and Egypt, to the years of revolution in the nineteenth and twentieth centaury. Art has played a critical role in reflecting the ideals and conflicts of mankind. The whole thing started with what was reality but it has now changed to a world of imagination (Nina 38).
As the discipline evolved in North America, Europe, and Middle East the kind of artwork made where pushed to a higher level. Different artist were inclined to different thought and belief hence the birth of expressionism. It is believed to have developed at the same time in different countries that were engaging in art works before the year 1905. However, it was the Germany and Austria Expressionism that engaged themselves on symbolic colors and imagery things that were exaggerated. Although it developed particularly a German character the French Fauvism in France is linked with this symbolic color of German Expressionism (Nina 41).
No doubt also to bring the famous Australian painter Gustav Klimt on board as one of the contributors to this works.
