Agriculture and Mythology of Ming Dynasty
During the Ming dynasty, which occurred in the period 1368 to 1644 A.D (Eirkson 1), the emperors saw the territory experience transformation in many aspects, including culture, politics, agriculture, and trade. It was during this era that the Great Wall of China, which is still standing today, was built. Innovation in almost all sectors was rampant during this era and can be attributed to the creativity that was brought about by the mythological highpoint that characterized the period. The Chinese myth is seen as a form of expression that tries to shed light on the unknown in everyday life, including science fiction and time travel (Liu 3). Interconnections can be drawn for both Agriculture and Chinese mythology during the era of the Ming dynasty, although not directly impacting one another in some situations.
During the Ming dynasty, the emperors were responsible for sustaining both the mythology and the state of agriculture in the territory. In an effort to enhance the economy in rural China, the emperors of the time relied on key policies to reclaim the land from the devastation of the wars that had stricken the kingdom during the Yuan dynasty (Eirkson 41). Most notably, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming dynasty, introduced the Yellow Records and the Fish Scale Records, all aimed at securing land for the peasants and limiting taxation. The efforts of the emperors were significant in ensuring stable agriculture during the course of the Ming Dynasty, which led to the massive growth in trade that even expanded to other kingdoms.
