Robert E. Lee: Early Years, Accomplishments, America's Impact, And Historical Significance
Paper: In order to fulfill the History Departments requirements as well as the Primary Learning Outcomes, each student will be required to submit a research paper based on the use of primary source material. The student can choose any topic as long as it pertains to U.S. history during the time periods discussed in class (up until 1877).
Personally, I need Robert E. Lee's early years, greatest accomplishments, impacts he had on America, significance to history. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A BORING BIOGRAPHY! Papers are required to be typed,12-point Times New Roman Font, double-spaced; be a minimum of 9 pages (not including bibliography), and contain a bibliography of at least 5 sources (most of which should be PRIMARY). Papers need to properly cite sources using Turabian or Chicago style.
