Communication about health especially related to weight (gain or loss) and factors associated with weight (eating and physical activity) make headlines or show up in social media feeds every day. To demonstrate the abundance of information in the media over the course of the semester find one source of communication (published between February 10, 2020 and May 11, 2020).
You will submit your source of communication (e.g. news article, snapshot of an Instagram post, hyperlink, etc.) along with a 300-word discussion about where you found it, why you selected this piece of communication and how it is related to this class. Documentation (e.g. PDF of the article, snapshot of information on social media, audio clip, etc.) of the communication (that includes the publication date) must be submitted with your written discussion.

Brody published an article in the New York Times, one of America’s largest and most trusted media houses. The article was found on the New York Times’s website on March 16 this year. My interest in choosing this is the comprehensive coverage that the media house has, not only within America but around the globe.
