Media Production Exercise. Representation of Body Positivity in Media
For this exercise, students will be broken up into small groups and collaboratively produce an original piece of media based on one of the following categories:
a) a mashup of existing media that provides some critical commentary about media
b) an experimental collage using originally produced images and/or sounds
c) a combination of a & b

The sponsorships “body positive movement” has lately been an outburst of internet and media-based information bestowed to challenging narrow Western attractiveness standards that honor different appearances based on body, race, able-bodied and cis-gendered.
