Animation
The art of animation has become integral in the movie industry. The filmmakers have recruited the best animators who improve on the scenes, character, and proper background design. The animation is not only used in movies but also in the media, commercials, and video games. Animation has become one of the well-paying jobs in the modern technological world. It involves the use of the animation computer software, puppets, and other tools that capture images at every stage of the movement. Animators collaborate with other artists during their projects. Hayao Miyazaki is considered one of the best animators in the world. He involves marvelous animations that result in the best movie scenes incorporating several creative techniques. Miyazaki has produced some of the best animations, the moving castle of haar, and the goldfish on the cliff which are highly rated on the list. This discussion narrows down ion the analysis of the two animations.
The moving castle of hair was released in 2004, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It shows the beauty of the haar castle in Holland. Miyazaki showcases the outside look using the best animation skills ever, making it seem something different from reality. In his work, he has used the best timing skills in the scenes. he was able to judge the movement of the people and objects in the scenes and capture them at the right moment hence producing the best duplication ever. From the movie of the moving castle, Miyazaki s able to have the minimal movements in his show and animating it to look more interesting to the eye (Vieira,Catarin and Sahra p13). He captures the walking people to the castle; he modifies their movement to appear a bit slow and steady. The people walking to the castle appear to be in slow motion; the sand dropping from their shoes is clearly seen. The excellent timing can make the people light and easily moving towards the castle. They also appear to be beautiful and happy in their faces. This clearly indicates as he was able to capture every bit of the look. As the projection moves to the inside of the castle, the focus on the lighting changes and is able to increase the brightness inside the castle and able to see it more clearly inside. The water appears to be heavy and stuck in the swimming pool, making no movements.
Another important skill Miyazaki use is the use of proper speed adjustments. He was able to keenly slow in and slow out on the movements of the people. He modifies the speed to appear very natural. The people are able to move steadily to the castle, and while in the castle, they are able to stop gradually and not abruptly. This is one of the best skills used for moving people. The people inside the castle are able to move steadily as they look on the beautifully decorated walls of the castle. They are able to make gradual stops as they took a look at the decorations. This indeed makes it look more natural. During animations moving objects can be made to have abrupt stops only in extreme cases. Miyazaki makes the movements appear more natural and real by the use of the excellent slow in and slow out skill. To add on, there is an excellent use of comers and joints. As the people move in the castle, they are able...
